| Doug was in charge of the honeymoon for he and Aimee and he threw his best effort into surprising Aimee with the most amazing trip ever. He contacted me almost a year before his wedding date (smart guy) and we started discussing his vision for his honeymoon. Doug was very good about throwing ideas out, telling me what he and Aimee liked and we tossed around a lot of destinations and itineraries until we got it just right. They wanted a combination of soft adventure and leisurely luxury and really liked the idea of a mixture of accommodation styles as well as sampling as many parts of Fiji as they could without making the trip too hectic. Doug has kindly shared their experience and photographs with us and he does such a wonderful job of describing their adventure in the emails he sent out to friends, family and me and, with his permission, I can share it with you - unedited!
